How does voting work

Voting is possible at fotos and videos latest 30 days after their publishing. 1 is the best rating, 5 the least good. The worst is if you dont get any rating.

[edit] How the best fotos/videos are ordered

Order is created by calculating. For each rating you get points as followed:

• for 1 you get 5 points
• for 2 you get 4 points
• for 3 you get 3 points
• for 4 you get 2 points
• for 5 you get 1 point

The more points you have the better for you. If we would order galleries and videos only after points, new galleries could never be the best ones, because the longer the gallery/video would be published the more point it would have. So the points are divided by a time function, which erases this distorsions. So are time-points created, which create the final order.

The gallery/video needs to have at least 15 votes to be displayed among the best ones.

Voting could be restricted als follows:

• by gallery/video owner
  • voting is enabled for everyone, by a video restricted to users who have access to videos
  • voting is enabled only to users, who have also published a gallery or video. Here you will not see the voting stats
  • voting is enabled only to certified users
  • user is ignored and mey not vote for any galleries or videos of this owner

• by administrator
  • user can vote for all galleries and videos where owner enabled it
  • user has voting restricted
